Step into the world of artistic exploration and cultural discovery with StoryTellers' ImagiNations creative arts summer camp. Whether they're acting, filming, or making music, students will develop new, life-long skills, and gain a deeper understanding of how art connects us across the globe. With 3 dynamic skills sets to choose from, ImagiNations will broaden your young creative's mind to a world full of possibilities!

Each day students will learn from culture experts from around the world,. Stories of their heritage, and how God has gifted them with the ability to tell stories and express who He is through their cultural customs. Students will then take what they've  learned and apply it in the lesson.  
  • Acting students will prepare for a theatre presentation. As well as participating in a short film; with both being presented at our camp showcase,. The will learning technical foundations, characterization, memorization, creative movement, and teamwork.
  •  Film students will learn story arch, lighting design, cinematography, and editing. Working together to produce, film, edit, and present a short film at our camp's showcase. 
  • Music students will receive instructions on music theory, rhythm, beat and how when we come together to create a song to glorify God, something beautiful is produced.

Meet the team!

Hannah Larum

Executive and Creative Director 
Hannah Larum is a professional actress, choreographer, dancer, voice artist, and director with a passion for storytelling that transcends barriers and resonates deeply with audiences. Since 2009, she has worked in community and national theatre and film, with extensive classical training across acting, voice, movement, and production disciplines. As Executive and Creative Director of StoryTellers United Academy, she draws on her diverse expertise to craft immersive, high-quality experiences that cultivate excellence, creativity, and artistic growth in the next generation.

Jacob Swerbensky

Acting Insturctor 
Jacob Swerbensky is excited to be returning to be the acting instructor for imaginations. He has been a part of a multitude of productions, ranging from acting and stage play, to running the show behind the scenes. He is very excited to be able to raise up this class of actors to be able to use their talents for the Lord.  

Tyler Maddix

Film Instructor 
Tyler Maddix is a film major at ASU’s Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, studying to be a Director. He very excited to work with the youth and teach them about the things he wished he could’ve learned as a kid. 

Amal Azzam

Music Instructor 
Amal Azzam is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Business. Born and raised in Nazareth, Israel, Amal comes from a multicultural background with an American mother and an Israeli father. She is deeply passionate about music, the arts, and exploring diverse cultures, and she loves sharing that enthusiasm with others.
